Girl Scouts

.

Brownies & Juniors: Curious Kids' Museum offers a Try-it/Badge-earning program for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. Each Scout will complete the needed requirements in one session. There are two ways to go on a Badge Quest: 1. Stay overnight at the Museum with your troop and earn a Badge/Try-it. 2. Come with your troop for a workshop during the week or a Saturday morning.

Financial assistance is available for Badge Quests-please call for details.

Daisies: Tours of the Museum are available at the special price of $2.00 per person for one hour. Pre-registration is required. This is a very popular field trip with the girls. Please see below for information about a special Daisy Garden Day!

Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors: Curious Kids' Museum offers the opportunity for individual Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts to earn their service requirements for their Interest Projects and to earn the Museum Discovery Interest Project Award. Please call Loree at the Museum to discuss volunteering to help with an overnight, a workshop, or other opportunities. The museum is also willing to work with you for Silver and Gold Award projects.

MUSEUM FUN OVERNIGHTS

Girl Scout troops have the option of selecting a Friday night to have an overnight at the museum for their own program. For a flat fee of $250.00, you have the use of the museum from 6:30 PM Friday until 8:00 AM Saturday. Your troop will provide its own food and program, and a staff member will be in the museum to assist you. A 50% deposit is required. One adult for every 5 scouts must be present throughout the overnight. You may have more than one troop with a combined maximum of 50 scouts. This is a great way to prepare for Thinking Day, do bridging activities with an older troop, or for Brownies to experience their first overnight.
