The CircEsteem, as it is called, features children performing high-energy

de Soleil artist and 8-time European gymwheel champion of Wolfgang Bientzle guides, the budding circus performers, is artistic director of the
show. CircEsteem is a nonprofit youth organization that teaches kids selfesteem through the circus acts. The performance here will be followed by
an on-site, in the moment workshop for kids in the audience who want to learn the circus acts like tightrope walking, juggling, balancing and more.

For example, a melting Popsicle changes form from a solid to a liquid puddle, but you could put the puddle in a freezer and presto—you have a Popsicle again! Join us as we make some amazing chemical change concoctions and put some of the phase changes to work for you. Aug. 22 No-Flow H*2*O A liquid that won't flow through a flimsy handkerchief? What kind of strange substance is this? Join us as we discover the principle of the thing! Wee Discover- Wednesdays at 10:30 throughout the School Year (except during Christmas & Spring Breaks) Wee Discover is designed for toddlers and preschoolers accompanied by an adult. After reading a simple book, children will do themed activities that include crafts, creative play, simple science and discovery activities. The workshop always includes lots of fun for young children and their accompanying adult, as well as make and take-home activities. Based on the concepts of “Mother Goose Science” for young children, Wee Discover helps children discover the world around them by linking reading a different story each week with hands-on learning play experiences about different themes. Children exercise body motion, hand-eye coordination and grasp the many ways things in the world around us really work by experiencing them. Parents enjoy sharing experiences with their children and meeting other parents. Wee Discover is taught by Karen Brininstool, who has taught at CKM for many years. Free with paid CKM Admission or Membership.
