Feb. 25- Animals Alive! Join Tom Moore with Wild Tracks as we venture into the exciting world of reptiles! Not only will you see live animals, but you can touch them, too!

March 3-The Art of Self Defense Imagine you are a wild animal. What would you do to protect youself and your family from harm?

March 10- Too Bee or Not Too Bee Join us as we study this fascinating insect.

March 17- Animals Alive! Join Tom Moore with Wild Tracks as we venture into the exciting world of reptiles! There'll be a live animal show at 1pm, where not only do you see live animals, but can touch them, too!

March 24- The Audobon Artist Long before cameras, artists drew the things they wanted to show others. A man named John James drew and painted pictures of beautiful birds and plants for the Audubon Society. Join us to paint the Swan and the White Pelican.

 March 31, April 2-7, 2012- Spring Break!

Under The Sea Adventures, Noon-4:00 PM 

Grab your snorkels and bring you imagination for an undersea adventure! Come with us as we explore the water below. What lies beneath? We'll have fun exploring the ocean world and all that lies within. From seaweed to sharks, there are many fascinating things to see. Learn the different names for sea shells and discover where sea turtles lay their eggs. Discover interesting facts about the largest animal on earth! Fun Ocean crafts for everyone!

Feb. 25- What Do You Eat & Drink?  What different kinds of fodds do you eat? What is your favorite meal? Healthy foods help you grow and stay healthy, join us to learn more about healthy eating.

March 3- Winter's Last Roar Join us as we make a cute lion with your hand prints.

March 10- Out Like A Lamb Join us to make Baa-Baa little sheep

March 17- Green Can Be Fun! Rainbow fun and hunting for the pot of gold is only a small part of this fun day!

March 24- Come Outta That Shell! Which animals can come out of their shell, and which cannot?

April 7- Little Squirt Invites You For a Day of Learning! Demonstrations at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Meet Squirt! We are so excited that Little Squirt has found a new home with us here at Curious Kids' Museum! In keeping with our commitment, we are offering our first "Stay Safe" workshop for kids! Fire can happen anytime and anywhere. That is why it is extremely important that you teach your children about fire safety, so that they know what to do when facing such a situation. According to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), fires are the leading cause of death in the home for children under 5 years old. In order to protect your loved ones from fire, it is never to early to educate them about fire safety and drill it into their mind that fire is dangerous and even a small fire can kill and burn down their home.  Join us as we teach kids to "STOP-DROP-ROLL". Learn how to feel for heat on their bedroom doors, how to climb out a window and get to a safe meeting place.

Wee Discover for the Little Ones!

Wee Discover is held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Curious Kids’ Museum for preschoolers based on the concepts of “Mother Goose Science” for young children. The program helps children discover the world around them by linking reading a different story each week with hands-on learning play experiences about different themes. Children exercise body motion, hand-eye coordination, and grasp how the many things in the world around us really work by experiencing them. Parents enjoy sharing this experience with their children and meeting other parents. These fun programs are free with memberships or paid admission.
